Anjini Chandra is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Mechanical Engineering department. She graduated from Caltech in 2022 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Information and Data Sciences (IDS). Currently, she is investigating turbulent boundary layer flows under transcritical and supercritical conditions using large-scale simulations on high-performance computing facilities. In her spare time, Anjini also really enjoys playing the piano, folding origami, reading, puzzles, playing dodgeball, and tossing a frisbee.

Gowri Subedar is a third-year Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering with a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad, India, where she graduated in 2022. Currently, her research focuses on utilizing control theoretic approaches to develop a mathematical model of the ‘gut-skin’ axis in psoriasis pathogenesis. Beyond her academic pursuits, Gowri has a keen interest in novels, sports, and numismatics.
